Qatar finally lands iPhone 3GS via Vodafone

iphone3gs_vodafoneVia SaudiMac we learn that as of December 11, Vodafone is selling iPhone 3GS in Qatar.

Prices are: QAR2,399 for iPhone 3G 8GB, QAR2,399 for iPhone 3GS 16GB and QAR3,499 for the 32GB version of iPhone 3GS (price almost the same in UAE Dirhams). This means iPhone 3GS is a bit more expensive in Qatar compared to UAE.

The plans are confusing. It says “300MB included until the 31 of December” but it also says “All Vodafone Qatar customers will be able to enjoy free mobile data with their iPhone 3GS through the end of the year”, so is it “free” up to 300MB, or? Plans range from QAR35 to QAR550 per month, which includes 35 or 550 free voice minutes.
