Grace – happy to join Shufflegazine!

Hello, my name’s Grace and I’m one of the new bloggers here at Shufflegazine dot com. I’m an expat living in Dubai since January 2007 after a ten years plus of student/expat stint in Japan. Aside from working full time six days a week, I’m a mom to a perky six year old  girl who keeps me up and about. If you’re a parent, you know what I mean. She has this ability to make me laugh and lets me forget about the horrible traffic and headaches that goes with it. Since we’re living in Dubai, that is a HUGE plus. No, you can’t borrow her.

Anyway, I’m nowhere near the category of “geeky” or “techy” (all implying in a good way of course) but I am interested in gadgets and new technology because I’ve spent almost half of my life in Japan prior to moving to the UAE. You know that no one can escape gadgets and fast-paced technology there bacause they follow you even in the toilets.

I am fond of trying out new things and writing about it. I look forward to writing for this blog (might include my journey from PC to Mac!) and reading what you all have to say!

When I’m not here, I’m blogging about my desert life at Sandier Pastures.com, posting random blahs in Twitter or walking around Dubai with the other love of my life, my Canon SLR.
