A proud convert – introducing Fangpyre

“I want to thank the academy and all the little people…” How does one introduce himself without sounding like a total jerk? So here I claim the throne of Jerkville.
The first time I used an Apple was when I was in 2nd grade to learn BASIC programming.
Apple machines came in and out of my life since then, but I never owned one. I have to admit I wasn’t a big Apple fan till around 2000. I always admired how cool everything looked, but it was just eye-candy to me. The Mac Cube totally caught my heart, and I was sad that Apple had to discontinue it. When Mac OS X started to make progress, that’s when I really jumped into the Apple world. I bought a PowerBook G4 15″ (which is still running all day, non stop). Ever since, I have been a total MacHead.
I specialize in what I call “Retail Marketing”. You can spend millions to get in the crowds, but unless they buy your product, its all down the drain. But I currently work at a theme park here in Dubai.
