iPhone 3GS launch day – let us know!

iphoneduetslt27octToday is the day when iPhone 3GS becomes available from both du and Etisalat. Although Etisalat still hasn’t revealed any plan details so it’ll be interesting to see how that goes.

  • iPhone 3G was released same-day in UAE (Etisalat) and Saudi Arabia (Mobily). Why is it different now? Why is Mobily being extremely quiet and releasing a short press release claiming that the iPhone 3GS will be out the next few MONTHS?

    Can someone ask a manager at Etisalat, I am sure they know something!
  • It's a mystery, Khaled. Remember Etisalat has been extremely quiet about their 3GS and still after launch there are no plans. I could ask someone at Etisalat but I'm 99.9% sure they won't say anything, even if they knew something. I talked to someone there yesterday, someone who you would think should know about plans because of their position and I really believe him when he says he doesn't know details of plans or when they're coming.
