Etisalat will launch iPhone 3GS October 27

iphone_etisalatIn a press release today Etisalat states that they will launch iPhone 3GS on the same day as du, October 27. On the iPhone 3GS page on their site it lists the prices of the handsets:

  • iPhone 3GS 32GB AED2799 (du 2869)
  • iPhone 3GS 16GB AED2399 (du 2459)
  • iPhone 3GS3G 8GB AED1999 (du 2049)

On their page it says “3GS” 8GB model but I think that’s the 3G model. A quick check with Apple shows there is no 8GB 3GS model. This means prices for handsets are pretty much in line with du’s prices. We’ll see tomorrow what the plans are like.
