Mighty Mouse is dead, long live Magic Mouse

Apple’s new mouse, the Magic Mouse, is still mighty but can’t be called that apparently. I’m not sure there’s much magic about the Magic Mouse but it looks pretty cool. The Magic has a new shape and surface and it’s multi-touch a la Apple’s recent Mac notebooks. Apple describes it like this: “The Multi-Touch area covers the top surface of Magic Mouse, and the mouse itself is the button. Scroll in any direction with one finger, swipe through web pages and photos with two, and click and double-click anywhere.”

Apple says that “Magic Mouse won’t confuse a scroll with a swipe”. We’ll see how true that may be when we get our hands on a Magic Mouse.
