New internet mobile data plans from QTel [updated]

iphone3gs_qtel QTel today announced the introduction of Shahry mobile internet “packs”. Ranging in capacity from 50MB to unlimited, they should satisfy mobile data users in Qatar.

According to QTel these packs work best with a 3G smartphone, such as Apple’s iPhone, but any data-enabled mobile device should work.

50MB – Press release is not specific on this, will confirm. QAR25
250MB – QAR50
1GB – QAR100
3GB – QAR200
Unlimited – QAR400
