Reviews of Apple’s newest member of the MacBook Pro family, the 13-inch model, are starting to appear (look for Shufflegazine’s review soon). MacWorld concludes:
With its lower price, the return of FireWire (woo-hoo!), longer battery life, better looking display and a new built-in SD Card slot that you can boot from, the newest member of the MacBook Pro makes an impressive debut.
Closer to home, Abbas at Tbreak.com says about the new Mac:
Overall, the 13″ MacBook Pro is a notebook you could easily fall in love with. Sure, a higher-res matte screen and lighter weight would make the notebook PERFECT for me but everybody has a different idea about a perfect machine and there will never ever be one. The price is a bit expensive in the UAE but that is a sad fact of life we’ve come to accept.
It seems like Apple has another winner in the new MacBook Pro. Better performance, better battery life, and more functionality added to an already best-selling computer- that’s a recipe for success, for sure.
