Hackintosh: What’s With All The Stickers?

You know how clean and smooth a Mac is? No stickers, no unnecessary labels, not many ports, etc. In fact, you’ll be hard pressed finding screws sometimes on Macs. Apple really goes to great lengths to design clean and nice looking computers, from the inside out.
Then take a look at most Windows PCs, like our hackintosh Samsung NC10. It’s actualy not as bad as some PCs but it has the stickers for sure. I guess they are part of some deal the PC manufacturer has with Intel or Microsoft. They get a break on the price if they put the blue Intel inside sticker on the computer, I would assume.
So that’s not a deal that Apple is willing to make I suppose and thank goodness for that. If all goes well with the hackintosh and it turns out to be a reliable computer for Leopard I’m sure I’ll remove the stickers and put a big Apple sticker on the outside of the display.
