iPhone is More Popular Than Most Digital Cameras On Flickr

The Yahoo photo-sharing site Flickr.com is witnessing a rapid increase of the number of the photos uploaded by iPhone 3G users. CNet news site posted an article showing that it is the first time for a camera phone to compete with the ordinary cameras as the top ranks were dominated by SLR camera.

Statistic and charts from Yahoo shows that the iPhone’s camera jumped to the fifth rank as the most popular camera in the Flickr community, while taking the lead as the most popular camera phone. The total number of photos uploaded by the iPhone during the last 12 months is 5.8 million and the number of the users who are uploading photos daily is nearly 3000.

Our point of view is that the iPhone camera is not the best but it delivers a very sufficient performance for most users. Especially the way it sends, uploads and shares photos make it a very useful device for users who are interested in social networking.

الاحصائيات و الرسومات البيانية التى نشرت بواسطة ” ياهو” اظهرت ان الايفون قفز الى المركز الخامس كافضل كاميرا بينما احتلت الصدارة بين كاميرات الهواتف المحمولة. الرقم الاجمالى للصور التى تم تحميلها بواسطة الايفون هو ٥.٨ مليون صورة، اما عدد المستخدمين الذين الذىن يقومون بتخميل الصور يومياً بلغ ٣٠٠٠ شخص.

وجهة نظرى الخاصة هى ان كاميرا الايفون ليست الافضل بين جميع كاميرات الهواتف المحمولة و لكنها تقدم اداء مرضى جداً و لاسيما الطريقة التى ترسل و تشارك و تحمل بها الصور مما جعلها مفيدة جداً للمستخدمين الذين يهون المشاركات الاجتماعية.
