Our iTunes store

November 17, 2008 by Amed Adel

The GCC and Middle East market is promising but it is not stable and strong enough like other regions. I could not find any logic explanations for releasing the iPhone 3G in Egypt by both main carriers without GPS functions, and iTunes store. It is limitation to the users experience. One of the best feelings I enjoy while using my iPod or iPhone is the joy and the happiness, I simply live and enjoy the experience therefore we do need our iTunes.

On the other hand we are expecting - according to different trusted sources- that the iPhone might be released soon in UAE, and I believe other countries will be followed but still without iTunes app store, no one knows why? and no one is able to tell us when will get our iTunes App store?

Very good points Amed. We know there are examples of online music offerings making it to our part of the world, so why not iTunes? If Apple could bring the music from Lebanon and the movies from India to a Middle East iTunes store, don’t you think that’d be a success?

I believe you right Hussen, we need more attention to Arabic and its applications. For sorry the only thing I can do is writing but we should not give up easily.
