Bill and Jerry Partner up for Windows Commercial

It’s been rumored for a while that Jerry Seinfeld would do some kind of commercials for Microsoft in their charm offensive trying to push Windows. And now we can apparently see the first results of this partnership in the form of this video.
What do you think of it? I’m sure there is something I’m not getting. Is it funny? No. Is it somehow clever about Windows or Mac? Not in a way that I understand at least. Personally I think that Apple’s Get a Mac ads are getting a bit old and they need to come up with something new soon but at least those ads are quick, usually funny and try to make a point. Will these ads get more people to like Microsoft or buy Windows? I doubt it. But that may not be the goal, but then tell me, what is?

I didnt understand it either!! It didnt even mention Vista, they are saying future at the end, so are they promoting Windows 7 now? weird!!
Some say it’s the first in a series of ads. I guess we’ll have to wait and see but this first one still confuses me.
